How it works

How carbon film warms a floor

The film warms the floor surface, which then warms the people and furnishings in the room. It sits within the floor build-up, so nothing shows once the floor is laid.

Can it go under carpet?

It can, where the carpet and underlay suit a heated floor. Ron confirms the carpet, underlay and build-up for each project, as it differs from a timber floor.

Does it raise the floor?

The film is thin and laid dry, with no screed or glue. The finished height depends on the underlay and covering layers for your floor, which Ron confirms in the quote.

What about furniture?

Furniture positions are part of the layout. The film is not placed under fixed cabinetry, and the flooring maker's guidance for heated floors applies. Ron confirms this for your rooms.

What about tiled floors?
