What is radiant heating?

Radiant heaters give off heat that warms the people, floors and furniture in their path, rather than heating the air first. That is why a warm ceiling, floor or panel can make a room feel comfortable.

What to check before choosing

  • the size and height of the space, and how it is used
  • whether you want the heating hidden or visible
  • whether a ceiling or floor is being built or replaced
  • for visible heaters, mounting heights and clearances, which follow the selected model's documentation
  • controls, which are specified to suit your rooms and project

Installation and safety

Each system is installed to its specification and the selected model's documentation, and connected by a licensed electrician. CBS includes the electrical requirements in the quote.
